MADE IN MEXICO

Made in Mexico was co-curated by Patricia Ruiz-Healy and Deliasofia Zacarias.  Featured artists include Pedro-Diego Alvarado Rivera, Carlos Amorales, Laura Anderson Barbata, Marifer Barrero, Pedro Friedeberg, Graciela Iturbide, and Shinzaburo Takeda among others.

Made in Mexico refers to the interchange between traditional art-making and contemporary art practices of the selected artists. The exhibition explores the ways artists have sought to explain their world in terms of an alternate reality, drawn from imagination, poetry, nature, and myth.
